Where is the Baikal Region?
The Baikal Region served by BRAFF surrounds Lake Baikal, the oldest, longest
and deepest lake on Earth. Lake Baikal is situated in the southern-most region
of central Russia, where the country meets Mongolia.
The new families of those children adopted through the fund personally
witnessed the severe lack of resources in this remote areas. Minimal food of
poor quality, few toys and books, primitive medical care and no medicine are
consistent problems.
